Besides covering the IICRC fundamentals of carpet cleaning, this course also teaches the procedures and conditions that allow for restoring carpet. Topics include fiber types and characteristics, fiber identification, carpet construction and styles, dyeing at the mill, soil characteristics and the chemistry of cleaning. This course will also introduce the technician to the 5 methods commonly used in carpet cleaning.

Doug Bowles has been teaching IICRC's CCT (Carpet Cleaning Technician) course for over 32 years. In addition to his time teaching, Doug has consulted for major carpet mills and also instructs restoration continuing education courses for the insurance industry.

Computer microphone and camera are required to take both the course and proctored exam.

Exam Fee: $65.00 for the exam, in addition to the course fee. Students will have 90 days to complete the exam from the last date of the course.
